1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the JDS Express & Transport online bus reservation system, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Booking and Reservations
2.1 Online Booking
- All bookings made through our online system are subject to seat availability
- A booking is confirmed only after successful payment
- You will receive an e-ticket via the system upon successful payment
- Each booking reference number is unique and non-transferable
2.2 Passenger Information
- You must provide accurate and complete information during booking
- The name on the ticket must match a valid government-issued ID
- Mobile number provided must be reachable for communication
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided
2.3 Seat Selection
- Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis
- You can select your preferred seat(s) from available options
- Jumping seats (middle aisle) are available for selection
- JDS Express reserves the right to change seat assignments for operational reasons
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Payment Methods
- All payments are processed securely through PayHere.lk
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, and online banking
- Payment must be completed at the time of booking
- Prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR)
3.2 Payment Confirmation
- Tickets are issued only after successful payment confirmation
- Failed or pending payments will not result in a confirmed booking
- Payment confirmation typically occurs within a few minutes

4. Tickets and E-Tickets
4.1 E-Ticket
- A downloadable e-ticket will be available immediately after payment
- The e-ticket contains a unique booking reference and QR code
- You must present the e-ticket (printed or digital) before boarding
- Keep your e-ticket safe; it is your proof of booking
4.2 Ticket Validity
- Tickets are valid only for the date, route, and seats specified
- Tickets are non-transferable to another person
- Lost tickets cannot be replaced; keep digital or printed copies
5. Travel Requirements
5.1 Boarding
- Passengers must arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before scheduled departure
- Present your e-ticket and valid photo ID at the time of boarding
- Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of the seat without refund
- The bus will not wait beyond scheduled departure time
5.2 Identification
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all passengers
- Accepted IDs: National ID Card, Passport, Driving License
- Name on ID must match the name on the ticket
5.3 Luggage
- Each passenger is allowed one checked bag (up to 20kg) and one carry-on
- Excess luggage may be subject to additional charges
- JDS Express is not liable for damage or loss of luggage
- Prohibited items are not allowed on the bus
6. Cancellations and Refunds

7. Schedule Changes and Delays
- JDS Express strives to maintain schedules but cannot guarantee exact times
- We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances
- In case of schedule changes, we will notify you via the mobile number provided
- No compensation is provided for delays or schedule changes
8. Passenger Conduct
8.1 Expected Behavior
Passengers must:
- Behave respectfully toward other passengers and staff
- Follow all safety instructions from the driver and crew
- Keep noise levels reasonable
- Not consume alcohol or illegal substances on the bus
- Not smoke on the bus
8.2 Removal from Service
- JDS Express reserves the right to refuse service or remove passengers who:
- Violate these terms and conditions
- Behave in a disruptive or unsafe manner
- Appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
- Threaten the safety or comfort of other passengers
No refund will be provided in such cases.
9. Liability and Disclaimer
9.1 Limited Liability
- JDS Express's liability is limited to the fare paid for the journey
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- This includes loss of time, inconvenience, or missed connections
9.2 Personal Property
- Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings
- JDS Express is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items
- Items left on the bus should be reported within 24 hours
9.3 Health and Safety
- Passengers travel at their own risk
- Inform us in advance of any special medical needs
- JDS Express is not responsible for injuries sustained during travel
10. Force Majeure
JDS Express is not liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, landslides, earthquakes)
- Acts of terrorism or civil unrest
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Strikes or labor disputes
- Pandemic or epidemic situations
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described.

- You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without permission
